Built to Cover Width without Adding Bulk
Vertical blinds work through individual louvres that rotate to control light and slide sideways to stack neatly at one or both ends of the track. That makes them a practical fit for sliding doors and wide windows, where a curtain would need to be very wide and heavy to cover the same span. Untreated Bamboo and Dubai's Climate Don't Mix Well
Raw bamboo reacts to heat and moisture the way any untreated natural material does; it can dry out, crack or warp under constant air conditioning cycling against outside heat and humidity. We only fit bamboo slats that have gone through heat treatment and sealing before installation, which stabilises the fibre and reduces how much it moves with temperature and humidity changes. The woven structure still does what people want from bamboo: it diffuses light into a soft, natural glow rather than blocking it outright or letting it through unfiltered, and it brings a texture that suits rustic, coastal and warm modern interiors. The Edge Seal Is What Actually Makes a Room Dark
Most complaints about blackout products aren't really about the fabric, they're about light creeping in around the sides where the covering doesn't sit tight to the frame. Blinds solve this differently to curtains, they're fitted with side channels or close tolerance brackets that hold the fabric right against the reveal, cutting the gap that lets light around the edges.
