Foam flattens with years of leaning against it, buttoning comes loose, and stitching pulls apart at the seams long before the fabric itself gives out. Our technicians strip the headboard back, check the padding and frame, and rebuild it properly rather than stretching new fabric over old foam. There's a motor, rollers, airbags and wiring built into the frame, and taking that apart carelessly can do more damage than the worn upholstery ever did. Most people replace a sofa because it has stopped being comfortable, not because the fabric's worn out. In nine out of ten cases, it's the foam that's gone, not the couch itself. Foam compresses, crumbles or loses its shape years before the outer fabric does, and once that happens, no amount of plumping the cushions fixes it. Our technicians measure each cushion, cut foam to the correct density and shape, and rebuild it so the seat holds its support properly again. If the cover's worn or torn while we're in there, we can sort that in the same visit too.
